Who we are

We are RAD Beer. Our website address is: https://radbeer.com.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We collect certain information from you when processing an order, this includes personal data such as:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Postal address
  • Billing address
  • Payment details

We collect this information in order to fulfil your order and to make contact should we need to speak with you regarding your order or delivery. We only use this data to provide you with the best possible service and will never share or use your data for any other purpose. If you choose to opt in to our mailing list, we may use your name and email address to contact you from time to time regarding special offers or promotions that we believe will be of interest.

Product Reviews

When visitors leave product reviews on the site we collect the data shown in the review form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture (if you have one) is visible to the public in the context of your review.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

We use third party services to track movement through the site and other data to better understand visitor behaviour. We do this to make improvements and for a more usable and enjoyable visitor experience. None of this data is personally identifiable.

How long we retain your data

For users that register an account on our website, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. When you place an order with us, the data you enter is kept indefinitely as a record of that order.

If you leave a product review with us, the review and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Website security

Your safety and security whilst using our website is our priority and all communications and transactions are fully encrypted using SSL technology. You will see a padlock at the top of your browser while using a secure site and you can click it to view and find out more information about the SSL certificate. Secure website URL’s are also preceded by https:// rather than http:// – you can check this to ensure you are currently using a secure connection.
